Tiki

On Friday we all went to Cleveland! Cleveland looks a lot like a hotel room. Daddy says a hotel room is not really Cleveland. Daddy went to a poker game because his friend Tom K. is 40. That is really really old. We got to stay in the room with Mommy and explore. Mommy says it was an experiment to see if I was still scared of hotel rooms.

Guess what! I’m not still scared of hotel rooms! I was good in the car and only meowed a little. I explored the room over and over and over. It was very exciting! I think Riley and I were awake all night! We had fun! Mommy brought Feliway and our soft fleecy blankets and catnip bubbles and a new mousy and new treats and our fountain. I did hide under the bed a little but there was too much too explore so I kept coming out. Just to keep them guessing I did some intermittent meowing at 3 am, but mostly I was quiet. I am a very good girl.

Riley is a very bad boy. He is not afraid of anything. When Mommy brought Kesey back from going potty, Riley escaped our room and ran to the other end of the hotel. He says he just wanted to explore, but Mommy was very very scared until she caught him.

Wow! That sounds like a major adventure. I’m not sure I’d be excited about hotel rooms though. The Woman is glad that Riley was not lost!

Gee, I don’t like to go in the car so I am not sure about that adventure. It does look like you had fun though. Maybe I should reconsider not liking the car.

Tiki, I am so glad you had FUN in the hotel room and you were not scairt at all. But Riley was very, very Bad to escape like that.
One time, when we stayed in a hotel room, I climbed into a hole in the bottom of the box springs! My Mommie had to stuff a pillow in there so I would not go in there and make us miss our flight.

A hotel? That sounds like an adventure, alright! I stayed in one once, but didn’t get to explore, ’cause my OTW and the Big One had snuck me and Grumpybutt in.
We are sending you purrs for your heart, and we hope you feel good. They worked really well for me, Dr Tara called and said my bloods and pees were perfect!

What an adventure! I’ve never seen a hotel in Cleveland (or anywhere else) I think I would hate riding very far in a car.
Glad your mom got Riley back in the hotel room.
Happy Holidays!

I just notice the e-mail on the side had one letter too many on the “earthlink” part so I fixed it.

Hi there Riley & Tiki,
Thanks for stopping by with good wishes for my cousin. He is still in the hospital, and things are stable. We still aren’t sure of how bad the head injuries are, but we will update on my blog.
Thanks again.

What an adventure! We have had to stay in hotels before while traveling and we also do the 3 am meowing just to make sure our humans didnt forget we were there. We also hide under the bed most of the time, too!
You guys are very brave!

Thanks for your comment ! the fact that Lisa has now an “own” room really helps and I can finally sleep through the whole night. She even goes now all by hersel in her room at 9 pm. I put food and the litterbox and lock the room. In the morning she greats me happily and stretches !
Yowling is terrible !! it’s a good idea to put light on, somebody had told me I didn’t know that cats also get scared of the dark ! You should write more often !!
